Design and Manufacture of a Telemetry System

Abstract
In the present diploma thesis an attempt is made to design and fabricate a system of telemetry, in order to transmit signals and measurements taken from sensors in real time. Specifically, the system will be glued inside the nose cone of a model rocket and ,during the flight, measurements will be recorded and transmitted to a receiver on the ground. Initially, the main structure of the system and the used communication protocols are described. Next, there is an analysis of the parts chosen to be placed in the system. The thesis continues with the presentation of the schematics and the design of the printed circuit board (PCB). Finally, the results of the experimental process/measurements are presented.
