Professor Paul Sotiriadis was named IEEE Fellow!
We are thrilled to announce that Prof. Paul Sotiriadis of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering - NTUA (National Technical University of Athens) has been named a 2023 IEEE Fellow for his contributions to Advanced Frequency Synthesis and High-Speed Data Buses. This is a great recognition of his contributions to two important technical areas: Frequency Synthesis, which is of fundamental importance to Radar, Telecommunications, Navigation, Timing, Instrumentation and other systems, and, (on-chip) High-Speed Data Buses (optimization) for increasing on-chip data transmission speed and power efficiency. His work has been adopted by the industry and has been included in technical books, which is an important criterion for elevation to the Fellow level. IEEE Fellow is one of IEEE's most prestigious Honors and the highest grade of IEEE membership, awarded to a very limited number of Senior Members who have made significant contributions to the advancement or application of Engineering, Science and Technology. According to the IEEE Fellows Directory, Prof. Sotiriadis is the only IEEE Fellow in the technical area of Integrated Circuits in Greece, one of the 8 IEEE Fellows who are members of our School, and, one of the 26 IEEE Fellows in Greece.
