Our laboratory participates in the VEPIT project. VEPIT is the acronym for Vehicle Energy Profiling based on Internet of Things. It is an academic research project which runs with the collaboration of METIS Cyberspace Technology Corporation, as Coordinating Partner, the National Technical University of Athens and the University of Thessaly. Our involvemnt in the project has two main goals:
- To develop a low cost Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) in order to evaluate the heights of the sea waves by using data aqcuired by inertial measurements.
- To develop a loop powered 4-20mA sensing wireless device.
